hootzeez Refund & Cancellation Policy

Refunds

Pre-Made Products: We gladly accept returns of unopened, unused, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged pre-made products in the original packaging within 15 days of receipt with a valid proof of purchase (receipt). Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. A full refund will be issued to the original payment method upon inspection of the returned item. Please allow 2 business days for your refund to be processed by us, and then allow additional time for your bank to post the refund to your account.

Custom/Made to Order Products: Refunds are available for orders canceled before production begins.

Exceptions to Refund Policy:

  • Custom-made/Made to Order products, unless defective, cannot be returned for a refund due to their personalized nature.
  • Slight variations in the color, texture, or grain of reclaimed materials used in your custom-made product are inherent to the nature of these materials and should not be considered defects.
  • Slight variations in the color, texture, or grain in custom printed apparel are inherent to the nature of applying the graphics to the apparel.

Cancellations

Orders can be canceled before production begins for a full refund. After production begins, a 15% restocking fee will be applied to cover material procurement costs. The 15% restocking fee applies to the total cost of your custom order, excluding any shipping charges. Orders cannot be canceled once full production begins.

  • Before production begins: Initial stage in your custom/made to order product. We are planning the steps to delivery your product.
  • Production begins: In this stage we are procuring the materials and queuing your order for full production.
  • Full production: The final stage for your custom/made to order product where we bring it all together and produce it. 

To clarify what "production begins" means, consider contacting us if you have any questions about the cancellation window for your specific order. 

Exchanges

We offer a hassle-free exchange program that covers all aspects of purchasing custom-designed and made to order products, including size, style, fit, damages, and defects over time (see details below). We want you to be completely satisfied with your hootzeez product!

Please report any damage that is a result of the delivery service within 24 hours. If possible, refuse the delivery so we can initiate corrective measures with the carrier.

Express Exchange

Express Exchange program allows for easy one-time exchange of one apparel product from your order in case of size and style (fitment) issues. 

  • Fitment exchanges are eligible for a period of 3 days after delivery.

Defects Over Time

Defects Over Time are problems due to product failures, or workmanship, over a period of normal use or aging.

  • Slight variations in the color, texture, or grain of reclaimed materials used in some of our products are inherent to the nature of these materials and should not be considered defects.
  • Slight variations in the color, texture, or grain in custom printed apparel are inherent to the nature applying the graphics to the apparel.

Made to Order Product Errors

You ordered it one way and we sent it another. Production errors of this nature are things like the wrong color, design, style, size, type was delivered to you.

  • If you want to let it grow on you, then keep it for a discount! Otherwise we'll be happy to exchange it for you for Free!

  • Timeframe: You can initiate an exchange within 3 days of receipt for custom apparel regarding size and style (fitment) issues and within 180 days of purchase for defects over time.
  • Conditions: The product must be unworn, unwashed, and undamaged (excluding the reported issue). Original purchase receipt required.
  • Process: Contact hootzeez Support for a return authorization and we'll guide you through the hassle-free exchange process.

Return Process

Contact hootzeez Support within the allowed timeframe with your order number. You will receive a return shipping label and instructions. Return the original item in its original condition within 7 days of receiving the replacement. We will notify you once the return is received and processed.

Additional Information

  • Customers are not responsible for return shipping cost for exchanges, defects, or made to order production errors.
  • Digital proofs are available for every purchase during the selection of our products on our platform and product customizer.
    • Customers will see a final preview of their selection before "Add to Cart"
    • Digital proofs are also available for download within our product customizer.
  • Digital proofs will be provided for custom designs ordered through our Staff before production begins for your approval. Customers will have one round of revisions free of charge.
